Carl W. McDaniel, age 8

Carl W. McDaniel, age 88, of Spindale, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014.

Born April 18, 1926 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Enoch McDaniel and Viola Searcy McDaniel. He was a member of Bill’s Creek Baptist Church & loved the Lord with all of his heart and had a wonderful Christian testimony.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Polly Craig, Sue Pritchard, Dolan Weatherman & brother, Albert McDaniel.

Survivors include his 3 sisters, Lottie Craig & Ann Blackwell both of Asheville and Edna Wishon of Spindale.  He is also survived by one brother, Wayne McDaniel of Woodstock, Virginia.

Memorial services were conducted at Bill’s Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Terrell Dillingham officiating.
