Carol Jane Clark Padgett, age 75

Carol Jane Clark Padgett, age 75, of Rutherfordton, passed away, Monday, May 21, 2018.

Born April 6, 1943 in Greenville County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Cecil Clark and Ethel Lena West Clark. Carol was a member of Spindale Church of the Brethren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Clark.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 57 years, Joseph Padgett, Sr.; two daughters, Mignone and Dana; two sons, Mark and Kelly; one brother, John Clark; and former sister-in-law, Brenda Rhinhart. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was conducted at Spindale Church of the Brethren. Rev Russell Payne officiated.
