Carolyn Butler, age 70

Carolyn Butler, age 70, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017.

Born November 18, 1946 in Rutherford County, she is a daughter to Frances Miller Grant who resides in Rutherfordton and the late Earl Grant. Carolyn was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1964 and a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening and water painting.

In addition to her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of almost fifty years, Daniel E. Butler; son, Jason D. Butler and wife, Shannon of Forest City; a lifetime special friend, Gloria Bryant of Mooresboro and great-aunt, Linda Carver of Forest City.

The funeral service was conducted with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. Interment followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
