Carolyn Hall Crain, age 79

Carolyn Hall Crain, age 79, of Union Mills passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

Carolyn was a native of Rutherford County, a retired book keeper and a member of Gilkey Church of God.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Marion Crain; daughters Marilyn (Jerry) McEntyre and Marlene (Richard) Hollifield; four grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a sister Marie (Joe) Smith.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Gilkey and Zora Bell Harris Hall; brothers G. A, Daniel and Virgil Hall; sisters Nell Underwood, Mabel Gragg and Ruth Rhodes.

Funeral services were held at Gilkey Church of God with Rev. Chris Kennedy and Rev. Herman Toney officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
