Carrie Elizabeth Morrow, age 91 of Forest City passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.

Carrie was born March 27, 1927 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Yates and Ocena Murray Lane. She was a graduate of Sunshine High School, a member of Bethany Baptist Church and a homemaker. Her husband, Angus Quinton Morrow preceded her in death in 1978.

Survivors include four sons, Harvey Morrow of Matthews, Caleb Morrow of Forest City, Aaron Morrow of Mooresboro and Isaac Morrow of Chesnee, SC, a sister, Lillian Bradford of Charlotte. There are eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held at the Bethany Baptist Church. Rev Chris Fox officiated. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

The Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
