Carroll Hartman King-Harrill of Forest City passed away December 15, 2018.

A native of Morristown, Tennessee, she was born September 26, 1922 to the late Thomas H. and Cassandra G. Hartman. Carroll was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Forest City and with her first husband, she was co-owner of King's Jewelers in Forest City.

She was preceded in death by first husband, O. Fred King and second husband, Howard B. Harrill, as well as five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include two sons, S. Fred King and wife Gail of Greensboro, and J. David King of Harrisonburg, Virginia, one stepson, R. Scott Harrill of Forest City, and a special and loving step-daughter, Linda Harrill Lovelace and husband Tim of Forest City and her devoted friend and caregiver, Martha Green; six grandchildren, nine great-granddaughters, and three great-grandsons.

A graveside service was held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
