Cathryn Lynn Shrewsbury, age 39

Cathryn Lynn Shrewsbury, age 39, of Forest City, went to be with the Lord following a long life of illness on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at her residence.

Born in Mullens, WV on December 15, 1976, she is survived by her care giving mother Edna Shrewsbury and step-father, John Nipper of Forest City. Cathryn enjoyed listening to traditional Country Western music, solving word search puzzles and playing the Wheel of Fortune video game. She will truly be missed by her entire family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rudy Sizemore; brother, Bran Sizemore; sister, Anglea Mitchell; two uncles and one aunt.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Pete Sizemore and wife, Betsy of Ravencliff, WV, David Shrewsbury of Forest City and Roy Shrewsbury and wife, Amber of Cliffside; one sister, Dorothy Moore of Ironton, Ohio. She is also survived by eight aunts and uncles, seventeen nieces and nephews, seven great nieces and nephews, and a number of cousins and friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Gray's Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Bryan Ezell officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
