Cathy Hipp England, age 50, of Forest City

Cathy Hipp England, age 50, of Forest City, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018.

Born September 29, 1967 in Haywood County, NC, she is the daughter of Patsy Waters Hipp who resides in Rutherfordton and the late Albert Hipp. She was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1985 and worked as a cashier in retail sales for many years. Cathy was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed shopping. Cathy's family was her priority along with helping her neighbors.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terrell Hipp.

Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, Rusty England of Polk County and Holden Hipp (Jessica) of Forest City; two sisters, Patricia Hipp of Morristown, Tennessee and Mary Jane Capp of Hendersonville; two brothers, Ray Hipp of Rutherfordton and Mike Hipp of Hendersonville. She is also survived by four granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.
