PrintCelia Jane “Tilly” Green, 76, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Walker B. and Minnie Jean West Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Joshua Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sisters, Brenda Hamrick of Forest City and Mary Frances Upton of Forest City and two brothers, Bobby Keith Davis of Forest City and Donald Davis of Michigan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death siblings Mildred Day, Jimmy Davis, Thomas “Sonny” Davis and Harold Davis.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Crowe’s Mortuary is serving the family.
