Chadd Michael Harton, age 33

Chadd Michael Harton, age 33 of Forest City passed away Monday, June 13, 2017.

He was born June 27, 1984 in Rutherford County and was a parts salesman with his family business, Forest City Bumper. Chadd was a lifelong Baptist and was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, Class of 2002. In his youth he played baseball with Forest City Little League and enjoyed the outdoors, especially four wheeling, fishing and working on the family farm. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J. C. and Minnie Butler and Doug and Norma Harton.

Survivors include his parents, Johnny and Susan Butler Harton, aunts and uncles, Linda and David Matheny, Doug Harton, Marilyn Holland, and Pat and Jim Gordon, special cousins, Tami & David Matheny, Chris Rennick, Kristin Harton, Matt Harton, Phil Holland, & Kathy Holland as well as many other cousins and close friends.

Funeral services were held at Chase Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Butler officiating. Interment followed in the Cool Springs Cemetery.

The Padgett and King Mortuary & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
