Charles Alfred Greene 81

Charles Alfred Greene 81, of the Cane Creek Community went to meet his Heavenly Father on May 2, 2018.

Charles was a native of Rutherford County and worked at Reeves Brothers for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Monroe Ervin Greene and Ester Mayo Cowan, a brother William Wilbur Greene and sisters Jean Brown and Thelma Blankenship. Left to cherish his memory is sisters Betty Lane of Union Mills, Jerolene Lane of Union Mills and Gladys Campbell and husband Jerry of Rutherfordton, sister in law Jeanette Greene of Union Mills along with a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held at Cane Creek Baptist Church, Union Mills. Rev. Danny Camp officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

The family request donations in memory of Charles to be made to Cane Creek Baptist Church or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
