Charles Harrill Hill, 83, of Mooresboro, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015.
A native of Rutherford County, he was born on March 24, 1932, a son of the late George W. Hill and Bessie Tate Hill. He was retired from Cone Mills Corporation - Cliffside Plant and Burlington Industries. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. He was of the Baptist faith and loved his vegetable and flower gardens and working in his shop.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Hill, Bub Hill and Frank Hill. He is survived by his wife, Lola Cantrell Hill; one daughter, Sherry Hill and Scott Boone of Green Hill; his grandchildren, Brannon White and wife Charity, Brett White, Branden Boone and Baylee Boone.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Hospice of Rutherford County for all they did for Charles and his family.
Funeral services were held at The A.C. McKinney Memorial Chapel with the Jessica Godfrey officiating. Burial followed in the Floyd's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
