Charles Max Searcy, age 77

Charles Max Searcy, age 77, of Bauxite, AR, passed away January 5, 2018.

He was the son of the late Levi Searcy and the late Edna Searcy and a native of Rutherford County. He is the widower of the late Edna Brown Searcy. Charles was a member of First Baptist Church of Cypress Texas. He was preceded in death by three grandchildren.

He is survived by Two Daughters: Jennifer Searcy Johnson of Bauxite, AR, Teresa Searcy Walker of Philadelphia, PA. Two honorary children adopted in love; Eddie Mathison and Karen Mathison. Three Sisters: Louise Elliott of Gastonia, Velma Earley and her husband Max of Gastonia, Charlotte Hottel and her husband David of Johnson City, TN. Three Brothers: Boyd Searcy and his wife Beuia of Marion, David Searcy and his wife Carolyn of Auburn, GA, Kenneth Searcy of Charlotte, three grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.

The Funeral service was held at Bill's Creek Baptist Church. Rev Claude McIntosh officiated. Interment held at Bill's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bill's Creek Baptist Church; 1475 Bills Creek Road; Lake Lure, NC 28746.
