Charles Ray Greene, age 94, of Ellenboro, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Charles was a native of Rutherford County and US Army veteran of World War II and received a purple heart. He was preceded in death by his son David Greene.
He is survived by One Daughter: Marilyn Queen. One Son: Larry Greene. Two step-sons: Cecil Bridges and Ron Brides. One step-daughter Laura "Susie" Bridges. Nine Grandchildren, Ten Great-Grandchildren, Three Great-Great-Grandchildren
The Funeral service was held at Race Path Baptist Church. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
