Charlotte Patricia "Pat" Whitaker, age 71, of Rutherfordton

Charlotte Patricia "Pat" Whitaker, age 71, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018.

She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Robert Clyde Nodine. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved to read Amish books and spend time with family and friends. Pat was a friend to all and will truly be missed. She was also preceded in death by one brother Tommy Wayne Nodine and one son Timmy Whitaker.

She is survived by her husband: Joe Whitaker. Mother: Grace Nodine. One Son: Joey Whitaker and wife Jeanne. Three Sisters: Ella Mae Suttles and husband Junior, Libby Dunaway, Debbie Toms and husband Danny. Three Brothers: Robert Nodine Jr. and wife Judy, Billy Nodine and wife Jan, Jimmy Nodine. Six Grandchildren and One Great-Grandson:

The funeral service was held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
