Chase Band Visits Capitol

Chase High Band had the honor and joy of traveling to Washington, DC, April 12-16, 2017. While in this beautiful city, they had the opportunity to tour George Washington's Mansion and Grounds in Mount Vernon, Tour the US Capitol Building and get their picture made with US Congressman Patrick McHenry, enjoy a Bike Tour of the city, memorials and monuments, visit Ford's Theatre, enjoy a Spirit Cruise, walk through the International Spy Museum, Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and the Smithsonian National American History Museum. In addition, the Chase Band Drum Majors, Katie Beam, Eva Humphries and Samantha Ruppe had the honor of participating in Wreath Laying Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The Chase High Band members thoroughly enjoyed this trip and are tremendously thankful for all to supported their efforts towards making this trip possible. They also wish to express a special thanks to their director, Mr. Michael Henderson for all his commitment and hard work for this program.
