Christopher "Chris" Swink, age 38

Christopher "Chris" Swink, age 38, of Rutherfordton, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Chris was born November 9, 1981 in Buncombe County, NC to Darlene Richards who resides in Forest City and the late Arlo Swink, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Daniel Yount.

Besides his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his "first love", Sharon Swink; six children, Tyler Euten, Britney Swink, Taylor Swink, Christopher "Hot Rod" Swink, Jr., Payton Swink and Kaytlyn Swink; seven brothers, Craig Swink of Ellenboro, Arlo Swink, Jr. of Rutherfordton, Forrest Swink of Sandy Mush, Jeff Swink of Ellenboro, Ray Bright of West Virginia, Jesse Bright of Ohio and Tommy Golthic of Rutherford County; two sisters, Julie Swink Yount of Rutherfordton and Cynthia Godfrey (Ricky) of Bostic. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The funeral service was conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
