Claudia Stephens Condrey, age 42

Claudia Stephens Condrey, age 42, a native of Rutherford County, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017.

Born July 10, 1974 in Cleveland County, she is a daughter of Claude and Carol Stephens who reside in Mooresboro. She was a graduate of Isothermal Community College and received an Associate's Degree from Gaston College. Claudia worked as a lab supervisor for CaroMont Healthcare System in Gastonia for many years and most recently as a medical assistant in Spartanburg. Claudia had many passions in life, which included gardening, pottery, painting, restorative decorating and traveling. Her greatest joy and love was her children and family. She also loved her furbaby, Trevor. Claudia was a charter member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Liam Murray.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Neil Condrey; two children, Nelson Elijah Stephens and Reagan Kay Brooks; step-sons, Lucas Condrey and Zachary Condrey; brother, Damon Stephens and wife, Rhonda of Cherryville and two nieces, Sara Stephens and Emily Stephens also of Cherryville.

The funeral service was conducted at Liberty Baptist Church with Reverend Mack Tester and Reverend Owen Duncan officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
