Clayton Hamrick, of Rutherfordton, NC

Clayton Hamrick, of Rutherfordton, NC, infant son of Jessica Cole and Shane Hamrick, Jr, entered into the presence of his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 2, 2013.

     Clayton was born July 21, 2011 in Rutherford County, NC.  He was known as a unique little boy who was unselfish, loving and a happy child who loved playing outdoors.

      In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Lora Cole of Rutherfordton, William Cole of Henrietta and Brian Krietemeyer of Rutherfordton; maternal great grandparents, Donald Smith of Bostic and Lillian Smith of Rutherfordton; paternal grandparents, Amy Lee and husband, Jeff of Harris, Shane Hamrick, Sr. of Asheville; paternal great grandparents, Debbie Hamrick of Spindale and Billy Hamrick of Spartanburg. He is also survived by four aunts, Olivia Roberson, Dalen Roberson, Paige Hamrick and Alexis Hamrick; two uncles, Michael Cole and Matt Cole and a host of other family members.

     Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Steven Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
