Clean sweep of the Broad River

The Rutherford Outdoor Coalition recently conducted its annual Spring Sweep on the Broad River.

While the water was higher than usual, the volunteers were able to pull out about 10 trash bags of litter, some tires, mops, and buckets. The group also rescued an abandoned duckling. Visit the group's Facebook page for the next river clean updates.
