Clyde Rupert Conner age 79

Clyde Rupert Conner age 79, of Rutherfordton, NC passed away peacefully on November 18, 2014.  

Born June 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Will and Eula Conner.  Clyde was a textile worker and retired from the former Mastercraft Industries. He loved camping, fishing, and being outdoors.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Helen Parker Conner; daughter Diane Conner Waters and Carl of Spindale, NC; daughter Helen Kaye Conner Ledford and husband Wade of Rutherfordton, NC; Son Johnny Rupert Conner of Rutherfordton, NC; Son Clyde Ricky Conner of Spindale, NC; Sister Polly Conner Hutchins and Rupert of Rutherfordton, NC; Nine grandchildren, Chris Waters, Misty Waters Rogers, Dana Euten Swink, Melody Euten, Keisha Harris, Marie Ledford Foster, Samuellee Ledford, Pheobe Conner, and Emma Conner; Sixteen great grandchildren.  

Services were held with the Rev. Roger Hudgins officiating.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County; POB 336 Forest City NC 28043.
