Colleen Pate Allison, age 86

Colleen Pate Allison, age 86, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

     Born August 19, 1928 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter to the late B. C. Pate & Carrie Flynn Pate.  Colleen was a graduate of Tri-High School, class of 1945 & worked for Cone Mills and General Fireproofing Industries for several years. She was of the Baptist faith & loved her pets. 

     Survivors include her daughter, Sharon “Susie” Wall of Forest City; two sons, Michael Edward Cain & wife, LeAnn of Las Cruces, New Mexico & Chris Allison & wife, Sharon Hamrick-Allison of Forest City. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Tanya Shehan & husband, Rex, Todd Fox, Renee Brown, Scott Ridings & wife, Betsy, Dixie Lee Cain & Lindsey Allison; six great-grandchildren, Shala Barnette, Loren Shehan, Brittany Brown, Sabrina Ridings, Michael Brown and Shawn Ridings.

     Funeral services were conducted at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Dale Austin officiating. Interment will be private in High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.
