   Rutherford County Corvettes held a Toy Run on Saturday, November 16 to benefit the Marines Corps Toys For Tots toy drive. The group of Corvettes met in town and took a cruise up thru Lake Lure for lunch at La Strada before proceeding back into Rutherfordton to meet with the Rutherford County’s Marine Corp League to donate the toys collected. Rutherford County Corvettes is a local group of Corvette enthusiasts that holds several community events in town yearly to benefit local organizations.
