The Betsy Ross 4-H Club and Bi-Lo’s Food Store is hosting a can food drive for Yokefellow Christin Ministries on Sat, Oct. 22, 10am-2pm. Please come by and help the less fortunate in Rutherford Co. “Hungry to Help: is the State 4’H Project for all of 2011.

Burns High Spanish Club 5K R.A.C.E.
Respecting All Cultures & Ethnicities: Sat. Nov. 19, 8am-11am. Burns High Stadium, 307 E. Stagecoach Trail, Lawndale.  Registration: $20 for students (elementary middle & high school), $25 for adults (t-shirt included). Checks may be made payable to Burns High School. Race day registration begins at 6:30am. Race begins at 8am.
