American Legion Post 74, FC

Legion Riders Group

Start-Over Household Shower
For tornado victims, Ken & Tisha Boyd Farris, and their kids. Sun. July 10, 2-4pm at Whitehouse Community Center; 5408 Painters Gap Rd, Union Mills. Family lost EVERYTHING in the tornado in Joplin, Missouri, on May 22. The family is originally from the Whitehouse community. (Tisha is the daughter of Ray (deceased) and Betty Boyd of Whitehouse). The family will be relocating to Spartanburg, where Ken will have a job with the company he worked for in Joplin. Sponsored by the Whitehouse Community Club, will provide a “Money Well” for donations, or donations may be sent to the family at 4482 Bills Creek Rd., Union Mills, NC 28167. Bingo at the VFW
