Sons of Confederate Veterans

The Polk Volunteers Camp # 919 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans invites you to meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month, and we love to have visitors. ECA Scholarship

Rutherford County Extension & Community Association (ECA) announces its 2016 scholarships. High school seniors, full-time college students, and adults wanting to attend college are eligible. North Carolina residents planning to attend a NC accredited college, community college or technical institute in the fall of 2016 may apply. Applications are available at all high schools and at Cooperative Extension. The NC ECA Scholarship deadline is February 1, 2016 and the Rutherford County ECA Scholarship deadline is April 1, 2016. 828-287-6020.

11th Annual Grady's Groundhog Day

Tues. Feb. 2, 10:30am-12pm. Last year, Grady the Groundhog saw his shadow, correctly predicting six more weeks of winter. Will he be right again this year? Common Sense Couponing

Celebrate Recovery

Is a recovery program based on principles from the 8 Beatitudes in Christ's Sermon on the Mount.
