The Friends of Agriculture Breakfasts

Sponsored by the Polk County Farm Bureau, held at the 4-H Center in Columbus, NC on Locust St. every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7-8am. Each breakfast features a speaker on areas of interest to our community of farmers and food enthusiasts.

Alzheimer's/Dementia Caregiver

Support Group meets every 3rd Tuesday at 6:30pm at The Perry Moore House on Main Street in Rutherfordton, located between the First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton and the Sanger Cardiology Clinic. HOPE Grief Support Group

Mt. Vernon Community Club

Ham and Chicken Pie Supper, Sat. March 12, 4:30 - 6:30pm. Adults, $9. Kids age 6-12, $5. Age 5 & under free. This will be the last supper for this season.

Buffet Breakfast

Broad River Genealogical Society

Celebrate Recovery

A recovery program based on principles from the 8 Beatitudes in Christ's Sermon on the Mount. It is where people can safely work together in helping those dealing with all types of hurts, hang-ups, or habits. Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop

Open Wed. thru Sat., 10am-4pm. Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill, non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization.
