Washburn Community Outreach Center Thrift Store: Well stocked with Spring/Summer clothing. ALL ladies pants, bathing suits and scrubs will be on sale for .25ยข each. Union Mills Learning Center: Music Program, Fri. July 7, 7pm featuring: Carolina Crossroads. Homegrown will open. No admission. Meal begins at 6pm, $5. Join us for an evening of food, music and fellowship. 6495 Hudlow Road, Union Mills.

Willow Ridge Rehab & Rutherford County Veterans Feeding the Community; Donations will be given to families with children in need in Rutherford County. Collections will be distributed July 21. Exercise Class for Parkinson's Disease: St. Luke's Rehab offers a free exercise class the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month, 12:15pm-1pm. Rutherford County Guardian ad Litem needs volunteer advocates for children. Becoming a GAL child advocate is a volunteer opportunity like no other. You will help a child have a voice in the decisions affecting their future, while learning more about our local courts and family services. Being a child advocate for G.A.L. is challenging, rewarding, and has a real impact on a child's life.
