Alzheimer's/Dementia Caregiver

Support Group meets every 3rd Tuesday at 6:30pm at The Perry Moore House on Main Street in Rutherfordton, located between the First United Methodist Church of Rutherfordton and the Sanger Cardiology Clinic. Mountains Branch Library offers a "Crafternoon" for kids on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 4-5 pm. Simple crafts and a snack.

The Friends of Agriculture Breakfasts

Sponsored by the Polk County Farm Bureau, held every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7am-8am at the 4-H Center; 135 Locust St., Columbus. Each breakfast features a speaker on areas of interest to our community of farmers, gardeners, and food enthusiasts.

Haynes Branch Stem MakerCamp

Saturdays July 16, 23, 30 at Haynes Branch in the Community Room at 10:30am. This FREE program is geared towards 8-12 year olds, but anyone under 18 is welcome to attend. Everyone must have a parent / guardian over the age of 16 with them for the duration of the program. 828-288-3039.
