Community Pet Center PSA: As of March 28, 2017, the Community Pet Center is no longer affiliated with the Rutherford County Animal Control Services (shelter). We are not located on Laurel Hill Road in Rutherfordton. We are located at 861 Piney Ridge Road in Forest City.

Pink Ladies Support Group: 1st Monday of each month from 5pm to 6:30pm at Rutherford Regional's Cancer Resource Center; for women who have been diagnosed with cancer. 828-245-4596.

Sons of Confederate Veterans: The Polk Volunteers Camp # 919 meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month, and we love to have visitors. 36th Annual Morganton Festival: Fri. & Sat., Sept. 8 & 9.
