Sons of Confederate Veterans

The Polk Volunteers Camp # 919 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans invites you to meet on the 1st Tuesday of each month, and we love to have visitors. Community Event

The Rutherford County Branch NAACP will sponsor a Candidate Forum, Thurs. Sept. 29, 6pm at New Bethel AME Zion Church, Forest City. Come meet the 2016 Candidates from Rutherford County. There will be a questions and answer session. The Public is invited.

Teen Talking Circle

A process and support group for girls 12 and up. Topics: developing self-confidence, understanding relationship boundaries, dealing with conflict and self-care for teenagers.
