New Winter Hours: Jan. thru March, Wed.-Sat., 10am-4pm. We accept donations of dog and cat food and bedding supplies for animals waiting to be adopted. Rutherford County Chess Club
Meets each Wednesday night at 5:30pm. 175 N. Main St., Rutherfordton (Law office of Marvin Sparrow and John Byrd, across from Kid Senses). Players of all ages and skill levels are welcome, from 5 to 105, beginners to masters. 64 Squares.

Ambassador Baptist College
Creation vs. Evolution Debate Live-Streamed on Tues. Feb. 4, 7pm. Bill Nye, nationally known as “The Science Guy,” and Ken Ham, Founder and CEO of Answers in Genesis, will debate the topic “Is Creation A Viable Model Of Origins?” live at the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY. This important debate will be live-streamed in the Torrey Auditorium on the campus of Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC. The public is invited to this free event.
