Hosting a Veterans Presentation at the Carolina Event & Conference Center Oct. 17, 8:30am-12pm. “Improving Care for Veterans Facing Illness and Death” a DVD presentation conducted by Hospice Foundation of America to help enhance understanding of veterans and provide professionals with new interventions to better serve dying veterans. Groups, civic groups, Scouts, churches, or just families get out and help those who need help around Rutherford County. This year’s week begins Sat., Oct. 19, with Youth Missions Day, where local church youth groups band together to build ramps and roof a house and ends on National Make a Difference Day, Sat., Oct. 26.
