CCIB Bingo Run

Fall Fest

A Showcase of Local Creative Talent, Sat. Oct. 22, 11am-4pm at Old Dunbar Comm. Gym; 421 Hardin Rd., Forest City. Creations by local residents will include painting, drawing, photography, needle work, upholstery, furniture, wood-carving, jewelry, dolls, ornaments, and more. Some items for sale. Flowering Bridge Events

Fundraiser

Hundreds of children and youth need financial assistance to attend South Mountain Christian Camp each year, and this is an easy way to help raise sponsorship funds. Eat at Chuck's in Forest City on Tues. Oct. 25, 4-9 pm. Bring your friends and family with you. Let the cashier know that you are supporting SMCC for your meal to count. 10% will go towards the scholarship program. If you can't make it to this event, but would like to make a donation, you can do so by mail to SMCC, PO Box 9, Bostic NC 28018.

HOPE Grief Support Group

Teen Talking Circle

A process and support group for girls 12 and up. Topics: developing self-confidence, understanding relationship boundaries, dealing with conflict and self-care for teenagers.
