Pumpkin Patch at South Mountain Christian Camp

Pumpkins available during the month of October. There will be suggested prices but all pumpkins will be for sale by donations only with the proceeds going to the camp scholarship fund. Mon.-Fri., 9am-5pm, donation drop box will be available at all times. 

 

Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop

We accept donations of food & bedding supplies for dogs/cats waiting to be adopted. Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization. The Community Empowerment Project & 104.1FM Community Radio Station will host a town hall meeting Sat. Oct. 25, 6pm in the Old Dunbar Community Center; 421 Hardin Rd, Forest City. Meeting is to identify local resources and talents, encourage aspiring deejays, producers and engineers, announcers, fundraisers, graphic artist and all persons interested in the success of the station to get involved.
