Veterans Presentation at the Carolina Event and Conference Center Oct. 17, 8:30am-12pm. “Improving Care for Veterans Facing Illness and Death” is a DVD presentation conducted by Hospice Foundation of America and designed to help enhance understanding of veterans and to provide professionals with new interventions to better serve dying veterans and their families. Week of Caring  
Groups, civic groups, Scouts, churches, or just families get out and help those who need help around Rutherford County. This year’s week begins Sat., Oct. 19, with Youth Missions Day, where local church youth groups band together to build ramps and roof a house and ends on National Make a Difference Day, Sat., Oct. 26.
