Sons of Confederate Veterans: Lt. William Corbitt Camp #525 invites you to visit with us every 3rd Friday at the County Annex Building; 289 N. Main St., Rutherfordton. Meet at 6:30pm for refreshments and 7pm meeting. 828-305-8654 or 828-287-3412.

NAMI South Mountains NC (National Alliance on Mental Illness): Weekly Family Support Group every Tuesday at 5:30pm. NAMI P.E.A.C.E. Community Center, 124 S. Powell St., Suite D, Forest City. This group is for those who have family members dealing with mental illness.

Chase Corner Ministries: FREE USDA Food every Wednesday from 9am-2pm. Families who receive this food may only get it every other month. You must be a Rutherford County resident and meet income requirements to qualify. 828-247-0096.
