American Legion Post 74

Yokefellow Service Center, Inc.

Pre-Holiday Sale, Thurs. Nov. 19, 6pm-8pm. Everything in the store will be 1/2 price. Holiday items will be featured, including toys, Christmas decorations and Holiday clothing. Proceeds support providing crisis assistance to Rutherford County residents in a crisis. During the holiday and winter season, the need increases. Coat Give-A-Way

Fundraiser

Hundreds of kids & youth need financial assistance to attend South Mountain Christian Camp, and this is an easy way to help raise funds to meet that need. Eat at Zaxby's in Forest City on Nov. 24, 5-8pm and 10% of all sales made during this time will be donated to SMCC. If you can't make it to this event, but would like to make a donation, you can do so by mail to SMCC, PO Box 9, Bostic NC 28018.

Grace of God Rescue Mission

Serving a Thanksgiving Dinner for the needy people in the community. Annual Christmas Walk

Features Homes in Riverbend, Apple Valley and Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure will be sharing their beautiful homes and fantastic views with the public for the annual Fairfield Mountains Chapel Women of the Church Christmas Walk on Sat. Dec. 12, 9am-1pm. There will be a van to shuttle back and forth those who prefer not to drive themselves. Celebrate Recovery

Is a recovery program based on principles from the 8 Beatitudes in Christ's Sermon on the Mount. It is where people can safely work together in helping those dealing with all types of hurts, hang-ups, or habits. Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop

Open Wed. thru Sat., 10am-4pm. New items arriving weekly! Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill, non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization. Come out and support our fundraisers at Sweet Frogs on the 3rd Thursday of every month, 5-9pm. 20% of all sales will go to help the pets of RC. Proceeds go towards our food bank, foster dogs and Low Cost Spay and Neuter program.
