Chase Corner Ministries 

$2 Bag Sale, now thru Sat. Nov. 8, 8:30am-2:30pm. We provide the bag – all you can stuff in it. Proceeds help local needy in our community. 1604 Chase High Rd., Forest City.

 

Holiday Bazaar 

Sat. Nov. 8, 8am-1pm at Whitehouse Community Center; 5408 Painters Gap Rd., Union Mills. Community members will be selling various items such as homemade jams & jellies, handmade crafts, baked goods, etc. Sausage biscuit, or biscuit and gravy for $1 each and a complimentary cup of coffee.

 

Pilot Club of Rutherford County Bazaar Fundraiser 

Sat., Nov 8, 7am-1pm at First Baptist Church, Forest City. Breakfast items and soup lunch will be sold. Variety of soups available for take out. Baked Goods and Pecan Sale. Lots of Christmas items. Also selling household items, odds and ends and clothes.

 

2nd Annual Climbin’ the Chimney

Sat. Nov. 8, 11am-3pm. Experience Chimney Rock from a rope with the Southeast’s leader in rock climbing education, Fox Mountain Guides. All equipment is provided. Cost: Up to four climbs or rappels offered for only $20 plus Park admission.

Free Spay and Neuter

PAWS of Rutherford County and The Community Partnership for Pets (CPPI) in Henderson County have joined forces to offer free spay and neuter to any Pit Bull dog or Pit Bull mix dog in Rutherford County. We will spay or neuter every Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix for free. That includes a rabies shot, too. There is no income limit. There is no time limit on this offer. Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop

We accept donations of food & bedding supplies for dogs/cats waiting to be adopted. Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization.
