Realtors, Folks Cleaners Coat Drive: The Rutherford County Board of Realtors and Folks Cleaners are collecting gently used coats for distribution. Real estate offices around the county have established drop-off points. Children’s coats will be taken to Folks Cleaners to be cleaned and prepared for distribution through Yokefellow. Adult coats will also be taken to Yokefellow for distribution. Contact: Jim Brown, 828-429-1023.

 

Annual Bostic Christmas

Bostic Lincoln Center Open House, Fri. Dec. 5, 5pm, Musical Program at 5:30pm. Santa will arrive to visit with the children. Free refreshments provided & prizes from local merchants will be given away. Everyone welcome. 112 Depot St. Bostic.

Christmas Party

Shelby Parks and Recreation

Our Carrousel Christmas on Sat. Dec. 6th kicks off the holiday season at the Park! Come and join us for pictures at 10am & enjoy refreshments from 2-5pm with a Carrousel Christmas party, complete with reindeer cake and hot chocolate. Santa Paws House Photos

Have your picture taken with your Pet for $5 each. Sun. Dec. 7, 14 & 21, 2pm-6pm @ Santa Paws House (Kimbrells Furniture). All proceeds go to the Community Pet Center Programs. Please bring a bag of Pet Food or a Toy for rescued pets.

 

Animal Rescuers Christmas Party

Tues. Dec. 9, 6-9pm at Union Mills Learning Center; 6495 Hudlow Road, Union Mills. Bring a bag of dry dog or cat food to donate and a covered dish treat to share and enjoy an evening with kindred spirits at the holidays. We’ll be constructing feral cat shelters for the winter as we celebrate the season of giving. Toy Drive

Crowe’s Mortuary is sponsoring a toy drive to benefit the Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer Center. Event held Thurs. Dec. 11, 6pm in the chapel of the mortuary, Bluegrass music will be provided by Mountain Oakes, Four Wheel Cab Company, Clover and Windy Gap. Admission is one unwrapped toy. Casar Christmas Parade

Coat Give Away
