East High School’s FFA Alumni

With 610,240 members strong, FFA is one of the largest youth organizations to date. The words FFA used to stand for Future Farmers of America, however, farming doesn’t encompass everything that the FFA embodies. With offerings such as the ability to participate in CDE’s (Career Development Events), scholarships, and access to the largest network of people willing to help one another, FFA is much more that ‘just farming’. East Rutherford High Schools’ plans to celebrate FFA Ag Week are as follows: Sunday: Put an ad in the newspaper explaining what a positive influence FFA is. Monday: Show your FFA Spirit by wearing your favorite FFA shirt. Tuesday: Teacher Appreciation day. Wednesday: Scavenger Hunt & Blue and Gold Day (wear your FFA coat if you have it). Thursday: FFA Heritage Day. Friday: Ag Fair Day at East High School. Saturday: Hunter Safety Breakfast.
