Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop

Decorating for the holidays? Christmas decorations and gifts, as well as items for your home, are available at low, low, prices. All furniture at ½ price. Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill, non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization. We also accept donations of food and bedding supplies for dogs and cats waiting to be adopted. All donations are tax deductible. 828-625-1042. 305 Buffalo Creek Rd., Lake Lure.

Coat Give Away

The Rutherford County NAACP

Free Spay and Neuter

PAWS of Rutherford County and The Community Partnership for Pets (CPPI) in Henderson County have joined forces to offer free spay and neuter to any Pit Bull dog or Pit Bull mix dog in Rutherford County. We will spay or neuter every Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix for free. That includes a rabies shot, too. There is no income limit. There is no time limit on this offer.
