Lost Playwrights Meeting

Country Breakfast
The Whitehouse Community will be sponsoring a Country Breakfast on Sat. March 23, 7-10am. Cost is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children 6-12 and free to those under 6 years old. 5408 Painters Gap Road, Union Mills. 
 
South Mountain Christian Camp Fundraiser 
Hundreds of children and youth will need financial assistance to attend South Mountain Christian Camp this summer, and this is an easy way to help raise funds to meet that need. Eat at Zaxby’s in Forest City on Tues. March 26, 5-8pm. Zaxby’s will donate 10% of the sales made during this time to South Mountain’s camper scholarship fund. Mark your calendars now, invite your friends, and help make a difference in a child’s life!

Benefit & Yard Sale 
For Jimmy Smith who has Bone Cancer Stage 4, the event will consist of music, food & yard sale items. Also, Jimmy’s grandson Daniel Foster will be doing an Elvis Tribute. All proceeds goes to help this family, they have no life insurance. Golden Valley Music Park on Sat. April 6, 11am. All day event. If weather permits, event will be held outside.

Crime Stoppers of Rutherford County: Program established for the purpose of obtaining info about criminal activity & fugitive felons. Have information about a crime? Report is anonymously. You do not have to reveal your name. Your info could get you a cash reward. Crime Stoppers 828-286-8477.
 
Advance Care Planning: Sessions consist of a private consult to understand the purpose and use of living wills and health care powers of attorney. Sessions are free. Call Joey Revis at Hospice of Rutherford County at 828-245-0095 to schedule an appointment or for more info.
 
Support Group - 3rd Tuesday of Every Month
If you are caring for a loved one with a debilitating disease we offer resources, education, and support on your journey. Come spend an hour and relax, learn, and make friends with caregivers in the same situation. Call 828-375-0046 for more info or if you need a caregiver to sit with your loved one during the group meeting. Crestview Baptist Church; 630 South Church St., Forest City. 
 
Domestic Violence Education/Support Group
Women who are victims of domestic abuse, or who never want to become victims, are invited to a free Domestic Violence Education/Support Group which meets 2 hours each week on Tuesdays.  Contact Dr. Johnnie Martin @828-286-9590 or Sally Claroni @ 828-245-1390, Ext. 104 for times and location.  Great information, interesting activities, and a caring, supportive environment.
