Domestic Violence Education/Support Group
Women who are victims of domestic abuse, or who never want to become victims, are invited to a free Domestic Violence Education/Support Group which meets 2 hours each week on Tuesdays.  Contact Dr. Johnnie Martin @828-286-9590 or Sally Claroni @ 828-245-1390, Ext. 104 for times and location.  Great information, interesting activities, and a caring, supportive environment.

Festival
Sat., May 18 – Spring-Go Fest at Chimney Rock Village. The Day-long Festival will kick off with a Parade down Main St. and a pancake breakfast at the town’s Fire House. Fire trucks will roll down Main Street for this old fashioned mountain parade, as well as everything from floats to kids on bikes. Cow Pie Bingo returns this year along with music, craft booths, and plenty of eats.
 
1st Annual Farm Day
This all-day event hosted by Chase FFA Alumni features both urban and rural displays, antique and modern farm equipment, barnyard animals, live music, vendors, and plenty of food. Admission is free.

Fundraiser
Sat. June 2, 12pm until at Moose Lodge in Forest City for Jimmy Smith who has cancer. Proceeds goes to help family with medical bills, they have no life insurance. Event will consist of food, music & a raffle. Jimmy’s grandson Daniel Foster will start off with a tribute to Elvis. If they are any musicians out there who knows Jimmy, please come out and jam with us. Free admission, donations only.

Support Group - 3rd Tuesday of Every Month
If you are caring for a loved one with a debilitating disease we offer resources, education, and support on your journey. Come spend an hour and relax, learn, and make friends with caregivers in the same situation.
