Movie: The Rutherford County Library Society presents "Mr. Peabody and Sherman" Thurs. July 23, 2pm at Rutherford County Library; 255 Callahan Koon Rd., Spindale. CAMP Fundraiser: "Hundreds of children and youth need financial assistance to attend South Mountain Christian Camp each year, this is an easy way to help raise funds to meet that need. Eat at Zaxby's in Forest City, Tuesday, July 28, 5-8pm. At the end of the event, 10% of all sales will be donated to SMCC. If you can't make it to this event, but would like to make a donation by mail to SMCC, PO Box 9, Bostic NC 28018.

Country Breakfast Buffet

Saturday, July 25, 7am-10am at Whitehouse Community Center; 5408 Painters Gap Road, Union Mills. Adults $6, kids 6-12 $3, under age 6 free. We are asking anyone who would care to, bring a can of food with them to add to our donation of canned food to help "New Beginnings" soup kitchen.
