Concert

International, award-winning pianist Alina Kiryayeva is performing her captivating "Moving Pictures" Cartoon Piano Program at The Foundation Performing Arts & Conference Center in Spindale, Sept. 15, 7:30pm. Kiryayeva's stunning talent is described as a "virtuosic fireworks of nearly unplayable piano transcriptions" and promises to astound any spectator.

Lymphedema Education Class

Thurs. Sept. 24, 6pm at the Cancer Resource Center (next to Belk at the Tri-City Mall). This class is for those who have had cancer treatments that involved radiation, the removal of lymph nodes, venous failure, injury or trauma. Is a recovery program based on principles from the 8 Beatitudes in Christ's Sermon on the Mount. It is where people can safely work together in helping those dealing with all types of hurts, hang-ups, or habits. Female Teen Domestic Violence Ed/Support Group will meet w/Dr. Johnnie Martin, every Tuesday of each month from 6-7:30pm. Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop

Open Wed. thru Sat., 10am-4pm. New items arriving weekly! Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill, non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization.
