Fund Raiser
Disc Golf Tournament, Sat., Sept. 20 at South Mountain Disc Golf Course. 3rd Annual Dale Sollars Autumn Classic is open to all disc golfers. $25 event registration includes players pack, lunch and prizes. This is a fund raiser event for South Mountain Christian Camp presented by the Foothills Disc Golf Coalition and sponsored by PPG and AE Global Media. Domestic Violence Education/Support Group: Women who are victims of domestic abuse, or who never want to become victims, are invited to a free Domestic Violence Education/Support Group which meets 2 hours each week on Tuesdays. Rutherford County Humane Society Thrift Shop
Open weekly Wed.-Sat., 10am-4pm. Come on in and buy something wonderful for your home. This week we are featuring books, buy one and get one of equal value for free. We also accept donations of food and bedding supplies for dogs and cats waiting to be adopted. All proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill non-profit 501 (C) (3) animal rescue organization. PAWS of Rutherford County and The Community Partnership for Pets (CPPI) in Henderson County have joined forces to offer free spay and neuter to any Pit Bull dog or Pit Bull mix dog in Rutherford County. We will spay or neuter every Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix for free. That includes a rabies shot, too. There is no income limit. There is no time limit on this offer.
