Cynthia Gail Long, age 52

Cynthia Gail Long, age 52, of Rutherfordton, daughter of Alma "Jeannie" Crummey Long and the late Marks Lee "Buddy" Long passed away Sunday Oct 4, 2015.

Gail was born July 16, 1963 in Plattsburg, NY, attended R S Central High School and Isothermal Community College where she earned her Associate of Business Administration, attended Gardner Webb University; and was a member of Mt. Hebron UMC.

In addition to her mother she is survived by a brother Marks Long, sister Althea Long Lovelace along with a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of the life was held at Mt Hebron United Methodist Church; Hudlow Rd. Forest City, NC Rev. Karl Kelly and Dr. Rev. Richard Bass officiated.

In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the American Cancer Society.
