Cynthia Lee “Cindy” McCrory, age 57

Cynthia Lee “Cindy” McCrory, age 57 of Lexington, SC and formerly of Forest City passed away Friday, August 22, 2014.

She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Clyde Evans and Sue Allen Gee.  She was a certified beautician and she had worked as a realtor. Cindy was also a member of Florence Baptist Church and was a former choir member.Survivors include her husband, Robert W. McCrory of the home, a son, Evan D. McCrory also of the home, daughters, Tammy McCrory of Old Fort, NC, Tonya Dotson of Lexington, SC, and Teri McCrory of Casey, SC, a brother, Wallace A. Gee, Jr. of Hickory, sisters, Diane Hardin of Forest City, Kay Squires and Kathy Winfield both of Shelby.  There are also seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.A memorial service was held in the Florence Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating.  Memorials may be made to the Florence Baptist Church Building Fund, 201 S. Broadway Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
