The Dan Padgett Jamboree has held at Ellenboro Elementary School October 14. The Jamboree was held to honor Dan Padgett who is one of the most celebrated musicians in North Carolina. Dan taught over 4500 students to play a musical instrument. Proclamations was presented to him by the Town of Ellenboro, Rutherford County, Congressmen Patrick McHenry and the Order of Long Leaf Pine Award from the Governors office.
